Hi, I’m Chris — and I’ve been on skis since my mom first strapped a pair to my feet at age three. From night skiing at Mt. Southington in high school to chasing powder in Vail’s back bowls, skiing has been one of the great passions of my life.

I first learned to tune skis by hand during my sophomore year on the Fairfield University Alpine Team, when we were competing in the Catskills. One night, all the teams in our hotel held a tuning party — and I was hooked. From that moment, I realized I didn’t just want to ski; I wanted to understand the craft and technology that keep skis performing at their best.

After moving to Boston for grad school, I worked at a ski shop as both a salesman and ski tech. While tuning skis in bulk with shop machinery was valuable experience, I missed the therapeutic satisfaction of tuning by hand.

That’s why I’m excited to now offer hand-tuned ski (and snowboard) services to the Cape Ann community — bringing precision, care, and passion to every pair of skis I work on.
